Chia Shen 沈嘉

Chia Shen serves as Program Director in the Division of Research on Learning (DRL) in the Directorate of Education and Human Resources (EHR) at the National Science Foundation. Chia was Senior Research Fellow and Director of the SDR Lab at the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Harvard University. Her lab conducted research in areas of HCI (human-computer interaction), interactive and tactile visual learning, large data visualization, and multi-touch collaboration. She was the PI of the NSF-funded multi-institutional Life on Earth project (NSF DRL#1010889).
